C personality type is ISTP, and is a major in the Air Force. He expressed a desire to become a fighter pilot, and upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1998, and he has been assigned to various bases across the United States. Since departing the Air Force, he has worked for a variety of companies in a variety of roles, in 2008, he joined a startup company called Train Signal, where he led their marketing and sales operations for three years. In 2010, he began working with the online intelligence company Recorded Future. In 2012, he founded his own firm, Red Branch Ventures, in 2015, he co-founded an intelligence firm called Databarracks. In addition to his work on Recorded Future and Databarracks, Watts has written several books and has started a podcast of the same name. Watts was born in San Francisco and grew up in Arizona and he is of Chinese and Scottish descent and his parents were both mathematicians. After graduating from high school in 1993, Watts attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and he was on the swim team and played soccer, but he did not play football.
