I have a friend who is a Marty, and she has been married about 12 years now. She married this guy, and they're never going to divorce, but I think they're going to have a really hard time making it work. He doesn't have a very high-functioning job, and she is very good at her job. I think it's going to be a problem because she doesn't have much financial security, and he's going to be able to coast on her through tough times. But he's a Marty, and he needs a lot of emotional support. He needs a lot of nurturing and a lot of attention.
The other personality type that I see as being problematic is the ENTJ. ENTJs are very smart, very competent, very hardworking, very organized. They're great at making money and doing things, but they don't have very good social skills because they can be really distant and cold to people.
