Iwao Hakuroi
Iwao Hakuroi (白海苺尾, Hakuroi Iwao) is the second oldest of Kotaro's five brothers. He has long hair and wears a white shirt with a blue tie. He is always seen wearing the same shoes, which are red and yellow slip-on shoes. He is a very serious person and is usually seen with a look of concentration on his face. Iwao was the only brother who didn't want to come to America with Kotaro, as he was still a student at a high school in Japan. He also was the only brother who didn't go to America.
In episode seven of season one, Iwao arrives in New York City to see Kotaro. He is now a teacher at the school where Kotaro is attending. In episode eight of season one, he tries to make Kotaro look for his lost pride as a man, one which he lost when he was young.
