    ENTP

    ENTP (5w4)

Dungeons & Dragons personality type is ENTP, and the best type for Indus is ISTP (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving). The ISTP would have been the best type to have been in the dungeon because they’re good at creating the dungeon, but the ENTP would have been good at picking out the traps and figuring out how to survive it.

The ISTP who was in the dungeon may have been very good at creating the dungeon, but they would have been completely unprepared for it once they got there. They were too dumb to see the traps and couldn’t think quickly to come up with a plan in a situation where they didn’t have a lot of time to improvise.

In a very real way, this is exactly what happened with the ENTP and the ISTP.

The ENTP was too smart for its own good. She may be a very good world builder, but she was too smart to be able to figure out that people were going to turn against her when it became obvious that she was going to antagonize them at every turn. The ENTP doesn’t see the full picture.

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game originally designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. It was first published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc.. It has been published by Wizards of the Coast since 1997. The game was derived from miniature wargames, with a variation of the 1971 game Chainmail serving as the initial rule system. D&D's publication is commonly recognized as the beginning of modern role-playing games and the role-playing game industry. D&D departs from traditional wargaming by allowing each player to create their own character to play instead of a military formation. These characters embark upon imaginary adventures within a fantasy setting. A Dungeon Master serves as the game's referee and storyteller, while maintaining the setting in which the adventures occur, and playing the role of the inhabitants of the game world. The characters form a party and they interact with the setting's inhabitants and each other.
