I hope people can’t help but dance to it, or put it on and feel something. I want them to feel it.
What’s next for you?
I’m about to do a tour with my new band, Final Fantasy. I’m also working on a couple of new singles, which I’m not sure if they’re going to be released as a full album or not, but they’re going to be a part of a new project. I’m also going to be going on tour with a friend of mine, Big Baby Gandhi, who is a drummer for the group CunninLynguists. He’s been on tour with us for a little bit, but he’s been having some health issues and we wanted to bring him out with us on this tour.
After those two tours, I really want to go on a solo tour.
Death Grips was an American experimental hip hop group formed in 2010 in Sacramento, California. The group consisted of Stefan Burnett, also known as MC Ride, Zach Hill, and Andy Morin. Though he was not the group's frontman, Hill has been credited with being the driving creative force behind the project. Their sound, paired with Ride's aggressive performing style, drew on punk rock, electronic, noise, and industrial styles. The group released the mixtape Exmilitary in April 2011 and their debut studio album, The Money Store, a year later; both received critical acclaim. Shortly after signing to Epic Records in 2012, the group leaked their second album, No Love Deep Web, for free download in breach of their contract and were dropped from the label. They released their third album, Government Plates, in 2013.
