Evandro Affonso Ferreira (born 1945 in Araxá) is a Brazilian writer. At the age of 10, he started working in his father's shoe store. He moved to Brasilia in 1959. In 1963 he went to São Paulo (city) with his family, and worked in a bank until 1978. He was an advertising writer until 1990, when he suffered a heart attack and abandoned advertising to devote himself to literature.
The following year opened in São Paulo the Sagarana tallow, putting on sale its personal collection 3,000 volumes. He kept the store until 2002. In 2005, he returned to bookseller activity, with the Avalovara book tallow.
