What is the personality type of Frank Herbert? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Frank Herbert from Writers Literature Modern and what is the personality traits.
Frank Herbert personality type is INTP, or Idealist Investigator Tester Performer.
It’s a little bit of a long story, but I’m going to explain how I arrived at this conclusion. I’ve been researching my personality type for a while now, and one of the traits that I’ve discovered about myself is that I’m a very logical person, and it’s how I make my decisions. It’s pretty much my life motto: “Do the math, and make the best choice.”
That logic has led me to believe that Herbert was an INTP, because of the way he described himself and the way he described his characters.
His description of himself: “The greatest service we can render our fellow men is to leave them unimpaired for the next generation; and the only way of leaving them unimpaired is to like and admire them; and the only way of liking and admiring them is to understand and sympathize with them.”
