The reason I called her a sadist is because of the way she used to torture people. It was not cruelty or hatred on her part; it was actually the opposite. She was trying to help them. She would get angry at them and then make them feel worse by saying things like, "You're making me look bad." And then she'd make them feel worse by giving them more bad news. She would do this to people in an attempt to get them to change their behavior or improve their performance. She did that for 14 months with me. I had a whole lot of anger and resentment toward her from a very young age because of that.
At 13 years old, I was like a caged animal. I would go to her office, and she would torment me. I would sit there and be tortured by her. I would try not to fight back, because I knew that if I did, she would give me more bad news and tell me I was making her look bad.
