Paula Patton personality type is INFP, the same as the protagonist, Paula. The contrast between Paula and her mother is also pretty clear. Paula's mother is so concerned with Paula's "goodness" that she won't let her have friends over to play, she won't let her have a boyfriend, she won't let her have a car, and she is very strict with her. On the other hand, Paula's mom is very free-spirited and fun! I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn more about INFPs or who is interested in learning about how personality type is inherited.
The only thing that I didn't like about this book was that it felt very slow at times. It didn't really pick up until about half-way through the book, and the last quarter of the book was very interesting.
