Doctor Vegapunk personality type is INTP, which is a little different from the type that I've identified in my own life. I've identified as ISTP before, but this is a more accurate description. I think, at least in part, that this is because my son identifies with it. And the reasons why I think he does is because of his preference in being in a group of people versus being alone, his interest in fiction and in books, his interest in art and in music, and in science and his interest in math and in technology. He's a very practical guy, a very hands-on guy. And if you put him in proximity to the right people, he loves it. He loves coming up with new ideas and new solutions to problems. And he loves sharing them with other people.
So again, I think that there's something there that's different about his type that makes him want to be around other people versus being alone. And I think this is true for him and it's true for all the extroverts. They like to be around others and they like to be around people who like them and people who respect them and people who like the same things they like.
