I have been working with INTPs for many years and have found that many of my clients have been raised by parents who were very Ni-dominant types. In a Ni-dominant household, a parent may have been a source of constant approval, leadership or direction while a child was a safe haven for a child to be “free” to follow their own creative instincts.
