I chose this book by Cecilia Konijnendijk because I had seen the movie with Vincent Cassel and I knew it would be an interesting read. I am so glad I took the time to read it. The author was very insightful and really makes you think about how you can bring out your strengths and create a better person. This is truly a great book.
The author asks the question: “How can we become better people?” She starts by listing three ways to become a better human being. The first way is to become a less fearful person, the second way is to be a more empowering person and the third way is to be a less judgmental person. She explains how each of these ways works and then gives examples of how people can be more or less of that quality. She then goes into a few stories to explain each quality and how that quality works. I loved her writing style and I could not put the book down. She made me think about myself and the way I live my life.
