    Mel Gibson
    ESFP

    ESFP (6w7)

Mel Gibson personality type is ESFP, and his Type Dynamics is 7w8 (optimism and energy).

Gibson is a very enthusiastic and excitable guy, whose characteristic Type Dynamics causes him to be more spontaneous and expressive than most people (he's very talkative and likes to share his ideas). He can get very excited about things and become quite emotional about them. He's always on the go, and tends to get distracted easily. This can get him into trouble, because he isn't always very careful.

His Type Dynamics also causes him to be very optimistic and positive, and to see the good side of things. He can be upbeat and optimistic about almost anything, but naturally has a tendency to become more cynical as he gets older.

Gibson has an extremely active imagination, which he uses to make up stories (he loves to travel, write, act, direct, even play music), but also often sees things that aren't there (he's known to be a bit of a "psychic" or "medium"). He's also a very visual person, and is extremely interested in how something works. This can cause him to over-analyze things, though he's usually only mildly aware of it himself.

Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson is an American actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his action hero roles, particularly his breakout role as Max Rockatansky in the first three films of the post-apocalyptic action series Mad Max and as Martin Riggs in the buddy cop film series Lethal Weapon. Born in Peekskill, New York, Gibson moved with his parents to Sydney, Australia, when he was 12 years old. He studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, where he starred opposite Judy Davis in a production of Romeo and Juliet. During the 1980s, he founded Icon Entertainment, a production company, which independent film director Atom Egoyan has called "an alternative to the studio system". Director Peter Weir cast him as one of the leads in the World War I drama Gallipoli, which earned Gibson a Best Actor Award from the Australian Film Institute, as well as a reputation as a serious, versatile actor.
