David Byrne personality type is INTP, one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types, and of course, I’m an INTP. The Myers-Briggs personality types are based on the American Psychological Association’s Jungian personality theory. I’ll let Wikipedia explain it:
According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), there are 16 personality types, each referred to by a letter of the alphabet. The personality type descriptions are derived from the work of Carl Jung, who developed his theory of psychological types in 1921. Jung used the term “personality type” to flag cognitive functions, but Myers and Briggs (MBTI) used the term “personality type” to flag cognitive functions and hedonic functions.

I’m an INTP because I like to explore ideas and see possibilities in my head. I like to explore many ideas, but also feel the need to explore the possibilities presented by one idea.
