I think that the most interesting thing about Ms. Linden's article is that she can't decide if she's being "skeptical" or "unimpressed" by the Myers-Briggs personality types. She seems to have gone back and forth with her own mind as to which one she's being. If you've read my other posts, you'll know that I'm not at all impressed by the Myers-Briggs personality types, but in this case I think it's because I don't like the way they've been promoted. I think that they've been promoted as if they were a "scientific" theory, and as if they were "scientific" theories of human behavior, and I think that this is as unscientific and unprofessional as it is possible to get. Such things are better left to the scientists.
However, if you want to be a scientist, that's your business.
