Seamus Malliagh, known by his stage name Iglooghost, is an English electronic music producer based in London. Malliagh released a cassette in 2014 titled Treetunnels on Error Broadcast. In 2015, Malliagh released his second EP titled Chinese Nü Yr on Brainfeeder. Also in 2015, Malliagh released a collaborative EP with Mr. Yote titled Milk Empire on Activia Benz. In March 2016, Iglooghost released his third EP titled Little Grids on Brainfeeder. In September 2017, Malliagh released his album, Neō Wax Bloom, his debut studio album released on 29 September 2017 and distributed by the label, Brainfeeder. Characterised by complex and energetic song structures, Neō Wax Bloom is a maximalist album which - according to PopMatters - "dismantle[s] any notion of genre before putting the pieces back together in [its] own unique way". The album peaked at number nine on Billboard's American Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart, and its experimental production and sound lent it critical acclaim.
