She said it’s not something they talk about often, but she is proud of their accomplishments.
“I am really happy for them, they are a very good girl,” Davoudi said.
She said she is not surprised by the results of the test, but she is still waiting for confirmation from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Zohreh Davoudi received her B.Sc. in 2007 and M.Sc in 2009 from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. She then moved to the US to continue her studies in Theoretical Physics. She received her Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of Washington in Seattle, and shortly thereafter joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for Theoretical Physics as a post-doctoral research associate. In addition to her UMD appointment, Zohreh will also be affiliated with the RIKEN research program. Zohreh studies strongly interacting systems of hadrons and nuclei using analytical and computational methods such as effective field theories and lattice quantum chromodynamics.
