Cicada 3301 personality type is INTP, and this is a very compatible match for me, but I still think I’m more of an ISTP than an INTP. The INTPs I know seem to be more interested in smarts than the material world, whereas I’m more interested in the material world than my mind.

I’m very interested in history and science and the material world, and I’m not really interested in smarts, which is a pretty typical INTP trait. I’m also a bit of a neophile, which is a typical INTP trait as well. And I don’t really have a strong preference for one specific subject over another, though I do have a pretty strong preference for science and technology.

So, those are some pretty typical INTP traits, but I’m not as interested in technicalities as I am in the world of importance and people. And I don’t really know what to do with myself.

Cicada 3301 is a nickname given to an alleged enigmatic organization that posted three sets of puzzles online between 2012 and 2014 to recruit codebreakers from the public. The first Internet puzzle started on January 4, 2012, on 4chan and ran for nearly a month. A second round began one year later on January 4, 2013, and then a third round following the confirmation of a fresh clue posted on Twitter on January 4, 2014. The third puzzle has yet to be solved. The stated intent was to recruit "intelligent individuals" by presenting a series of puzzles which were to be solved. No new puzzles were published on January 4, 2015. However, a new clue was posted on Twitter on January 5, 2016. Cicada 3301 posted their last verified PGP-signed message in April 2017, denying the validity of any unsigned puzzle. The puzzles focused heavily on data security, cryptography, steganography, and internet anonymity.
