I have a lot of energy and I’m more focused on the future than the present, so I prefer to stay busy. When I first came to America, I thought a little too much about the future. I was an overachiever and got stressed out over some minor things that didn’t have to have been that big of a deal. I had some problems with school and spent a lot of time worrying about grades.
When I was in middle school, my mom took me to a psychologist named Dr. Wu. She wanted me to focus more on the present so that I could have more fun when I was in high school. Dr. Wu told me that my personality was one of the “five dragon personalities”. These are extroverts who are very energetic, curious, and impatient with details.
